I guess this actually started several years back, but is resurrected each winter. People are challenged to send faith-oriented holiday greeting cards to the ACLU. Whether you observe Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or any other faith-oriented holiday throughout the year, send a cheerful (and polite) card to the ACLU. Be sure that it is NOT one of those generic, non-specific greeting cards, but one full of religious overtones.
While I don't know if it would really affect the ACLU one way or the other, I think it’s a WONDERFUL idea! I'm tired of being told I can't pray in school, or most other public places. I'm tired of hearing about lawsuits to ban any type of faith oriented observance in a public forum. The US was founded on faith-oriented principles. Why should a few non-believers be catered to and rights denied to those who do observe any one of the many religions believed in today?
So go ahead, when making out your cards this year, don’t forget the ACLU:

This subject reminded me of a bumper sticker I saw a few years back (and would love to get for my car). As long as there are tests in school, there will be prayer in school
