Where is that cattle prod when you need it?
Fri Mar 14 2003

The kids are being extremely pokey this morning. Getting them to move in the right direction just about took an act of God. They are at last moving in that direction, but so slowly that they are almost moving backwards.

Last night was again a hard to sleep night. I strongly suspect I will go back to bed after the kids leave this morning. Either that or run out to get a double shot espresso. Of the two, going back to bed sounds much more appealing.

#3 is working very hard on trying to get his butt swatted this morning. Between the back talk and the blatant ignoring, he may find it difficult to sit down at school today. Oh I hate mornings like this. This is definitely a morning I wish the kids had a subdural implant which would deliver a shock when I pressed a button on a remote control. I think they would be much more willing to follow directions without back talk if I had one of those.

Of course I suppose that would be considered cruel and unusual punishment? Darn.

I still say let them go to school in their Pj's once of twice and they will suddenly get all the motivation they will ever need all on their own.

i love that poem about how cool girls are... WOMEN.. I need to put that on my diary some time in honor of my best friend.

sure men have their place in our lives (where was that place again?) but women have deep spiritual bonds that are almost as evolved as the grunting and grabbing bit...

That subdural implant sounds like a great idea. I say....let #3 eat soup and crackers....then when you order dessert, #3 gets more soup and crackers :)

Here is another I heard, I was watching "Weakest Link". A contestent was asked "What do you do"?
He responded, " I am a sales rep for adult diapers", the host said, " Is that for over seas, or just INCONTINENT?" BOOOO!
