High caffeine intake day for the boys
Tue Jan 07 2003

Getting the boys out of bed today was an adventure. Both of them started swim lessons yesterday evening, and #2 also started back into Tae Kwon Do. They are not used to the amount of activity they had yesterday and were quite tired today. The temptation of eggs and toast rather than cereal finally pried them out of bed. Well, that and telling them that after they were finished with their breakfast they could have a coca-cola. Since they are NEVER allowed to have soda pop in the mornings, this was an exciting novelty for them.

Today the kids start beginning boys gymnastics. They asked to get into it a few months back after seeing a competition on TV. They thought the pommel horse and rings (in their words) TOTALLY ROCKED! So, today they will get their feet wet in the sport. It is my hopes that getting them into these classes will help them to fall asleep earlier in the evenings. I know I always am able to get to, and stay asleep better after a day I am active. We will see if the same is true for the boys.

Since I was home much later than Hubby last night, he went ahead and fixed dinner. Of course it helped that I left what I wanted him to fix on the stove. He was kind enough to leave the mess for me to clean up this morning. Wasn't that generous of him?

Wow..You even get to clean the mess..What a nive gift to you! You get to do what all us moms and wives want to do.

    :)

Sounds like your kids are going to be VERY busy. That is good for them though. Remember busy kids are less likely to get into things that they shouldn't be and they are less likey toget into a lot of trouble. Also I think being active in things helps with a child self esteem and encourages them to get out and be more of a people person.

Have a great and wonderful day!

    Peace!

I'm sure #2 and #3 are happily sleeping now after such an exciting day!

Thanks for telling me about Marionberries! All I could think of was a DC Mayor. ;)

Gymnastics sounds like a sneaky way to wring some of that excess energy out of the boys! Hope they enjoy it as much as they think they will.
