He was so thrilled to be able to use his leaf blower after he woke up this morning. I think the neighbors must've been envious of him. Even though it was only 5:30am, they all came out to see him use his leaf blower. Some even seemed to be calling out encouragements and waving to him!
My Grandma sent a check for us to get something for the kids for Christmas. It was enough that we could get them a computer for playing their games on (no Internet access!). The kids are now focusing on trying out all of their computer games. It is their goal for all of them to have been able to play each of the games (about 7 games in all) by the weekend. I think #1 is close to making his quota, but he won't get off the computer long enough for #2 and #3 to have a chance. #2 and #3 are focusing instead on becoming good enough with the Play Station games that they can cream #1 when they play him. Have you ever seen how upset a 12 year old gets when a 9 year old beats the pants off him in a game? It has given Hubby and I hours of entertainment!
Meanwhile, I have felt it is my duty to make sure my wireless keyboard and mouse work well. Tragically, this means I must spend HOURS and HOURS on the computer doing operational checks with them. The laundry and housework will just HAVE to wait until I have thoroughly checked them. Really!
