We had the frame walk with the contractors today and I can't describe the feeling I got walking through the skeleton of our house. The experiences we've had with this are so much different than that of just buying a house.
It struck me as funny to realize that by the time all is said and done and we are able to move into the house, the time that passed between the first thoughts of us doing this and actually moving in is almost as long as a pregnancy. Boy does this ever resemble preparing for a new baby. A BIG one, but a baby nonetheless.
