OK, that is mean spirited of me, but I found that person to be so annoying. I realize the show does not give a total picture of each person, but what was shown of this person indicated a shallow, self absorbed egomaniac, who appeared to be a sore loser during the various team challenges. Last night was the first time Hubby and I actually stood and cheered when we heard who was voted off.
Based on the sneak peek for next week, it brings up a question as to whether or not the teams will be merged. I guess it is a must see TV for those of us addicted to this show.
When I got up this morning to rouse the kids for school, I found #3 already up and looking for breakfast. It was so nice not to have the usual struggle to get him out of bed! He has had breakfast, and is finishing up some last minute homework, and then will be free to vegitate in front of a cartoon ridden boob-tube. #2 is still in the shower, reluctant to leave the warmth of the shower stall and come out into the cooler room. It will be nice this morning not to have them both at the breakfast table at the same time. They always eat so much quicker when they are not there harping on each other! Sometimes I wish it were possible to duct tape their mouths shut, but still allow them to eat.
OK, maybe I don't really wish that, but the thought has crossed my mind on the more difficult mornings.
Hubby has a friend coming over this afternoon/evening so they can geek together on computers. His friend had numerous spare parts which his wife encouraged him to find a use for (before she threw them away). As a result, for the price of a case, Hubby got a new computer out of going to the friends house last week and geeking with him there. Not bad for 8 hours of geeking with a friend! His friend had a happy wife, and I had a happy Hubby.
