NOMINATED FOR QUOTE OF THE YEAR...
This is the statement made by Texas Republican Member of the House, Dick
Armey, who was asked "IF YOU HAD BEEN IN PRESIDENT CLINTON'S PLACE,
WOULD YOU HAVE RESIGNED?"

He responded.... "If I were in the President's place, I would not have gotten a chance to resign ... I would be lying in a pool of my own blood hearing Mrs. Armey standing over me saying.... 'How do I reload this damned thing!!'

    LOL! That's great. Although I have no doubt that Hilary could easily have done the same thing if she'd wanted to!

    Welll, amen, and a beautifully thought out entry! When I pray about us going into Iraq, I get such a troubled feeling, I finally wrote the President to please, please let wisdom prevail. I know that he has access to information that I don't have, but I pray we won't get involved in something that doesn't bring peace, but more chaos. I agree....Saddam shouldn't be here now. We had the chance when former President Bush was at his door. I hear constantly that he followed the advice of Colin Powell, not to go against him. That was madness. What was he thinking??? love the picture of you.... I wish I were more like you, but I tell everybody what I think. I was reading the book of Proverbs this morning and it said, "a fool tells all that is in his heart." ;) oops, that stung! Blessings!

    so long as your kids are being brought up right, the world is already being made a better place for your good influence
    i too have had enough of all the violence and mayhem. sadly though, i think it is something that will always be with us so long as human beings are on this earth
    btw, thanks heaps for your tips on water saving!
    i shall definitely see about doing that in summer
