OK, OK.....

I do (kinda) like Dexters LaBORaTORy (you have to say it right for the full effect). I also enjoy The Wild Thornberry's while folding laundry, but only if it is not during my soap opera...or Buffy...or Angel...or Star Trek...or X-Files...or West Wing...or ER...or Friends...

Ah, cable TV, 123 channels and nothing on.....seriously, if we can have Pay Per View movies, why not Pay Per View TV? You could have a menu of series and line up your shows to match your available recording or watching hours. I think I would record it so I could fast-forward through the commercials.

Our culture is accused of watching too much TV. I don't understand sitting mindlessly in front of the boob-tube, but does it count if you have the TV on while doing housework? If you have the whole family doing housework while the TV is on, would it be then considered a contact sport?

I admit there are shows I actually sit through. Mostly though the TV is tuned to a program I enjoy while I walk through the house doing various tasks. I would estimate I actually see/hear about 60% of the show that is on. This works best with Soaps since their plotlines run so slowly. You can only watch 10 minutes a day and not really miss a thing...
