Am I the only one sick of the various ploys cereal companies use to sell their product? Personally I wish they would stop giving out toys and other prizes and just sell the cereal for less!
I can't remember where I read it, but about 5 years ago I seem to remember reading an article that it only costs about $.60 to make a box of cereal. Why then does it cost me $3.50 to buy it in the store? I'm not one to deny someone their profit on a product, but c'mon folks, us little folk can hardly afford to buy your product! My family goes through about 10 boxes of cereal a week and that adds up FAST!
