Ah, at last in my new home with my computer rescued from the internal depths of a moving box and set back up. Bliss!

Despite the fact that NOTHING else has been unpacked, I took it upon myself as the good little internet junkie that I am to first and foremost identify which box my computer was in and set it up. Forget that I have no kitchen items unpacked and am existing on fast food from hell, and no one in the family has any clothes unpacked and are wandering around naked in a maze of boxes, a girl has to have her priorities!

I have moved from a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2300 sq. ft. house into a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom 1450 sq. ft house. BOY IS THIS HOUSE SMALL!!!! But I like it. Getting into a smaller house gives me a wonderful excuse to get rid of "STUFF" that we never have, and never will use, look at or need at any time in our lives. Of course I will have to pry some of the items out of Hunkka-hunkka hubby's hands, as he will with me, but it is all in the name of downsizing!

The future looks good. Well, except for this Saturday when we go back to clean the house we just moved from. But I don't want to ruin my day so I am SO NOT going to think about that!

Well, off to get #3 son off to school........

    I'm so glad to hear from you! We've all missed you much... 1450 sq feet?? That's little! Where are you going to keep the danes? :)

    I'm not sure if you just simplified your life or complicated it! That's an awful lot of accumulated stuff you're going to have to find elsewheres for! I don't envy you the job.

    I had it easy. When I moved into my apartment I simplified by leaving everything I didn't want with my ex, the Pack Rat Extrordinaire!

    Wow brave woman going smaller. I live in a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath with a 1,800sqft. I need at least another 500-800 in the new house. My boyfriend has way to much stuff!!

    Happy to see you back. Ten years ago I downsized from a three bedroom house with an outdoor pool into a two bedroom Condo and I am so happy that I did. It was the best thing for me as I hope your move proves to be for you too.
