The boy, who ate the pickle, which ate Vancouver
Fri Jan 11 2002

Kept #1 son home again today (he actually went to work with me yesterday, but fever spiked today so I kept him home). He has not eaten much, so I asked him what he wanted, and I would get it, no matter what.

Pickles. He wants Pickles. Ok, they have those at Wallmart and I need Milk anyway...and Wallmart has the best prices in town! Bonus! I don't have to run all over town! So I bee-bop down to Wallmart. they have one jar of Dill Pickles left. Vlasic. Whole Pickles. One gallon jar.

These pickles are the size of Rhode Island, and he is on his third one. Boy oh boy I hope those things stay down! I remember garlic dills during my early months of my first pregnancy and I will not eat them any more due to that inflamed experience.

Well, at least #1 son is feeling better. Hopefully I will be able to go back to work next week. I am keeping my fingers eyes and toes crossed that #2 and #3 sons stay healthy!

Well, the folks we spoke with last week about buying the house are coming over this weekend so sign papers to get this sale started. I know I am a bit premature as everything has not gone through yet but WE SOLD THE HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!
We move to our new place the 26th of this month. My nerves are jumping all over the place right now, which makes it hard to stay on a smart eating program. When I get stressed or nervous the first thing I do is look for chocolate, or spinach dip. I wonder if I can validate spinach dip as a vegetable? I'm still working on validating chocolate as a member of the meat group. (made from beans, beans are a source of protein and a member of the meat group, therefor chocolate is meat!)

Well, time to go clean house. Ugh.

ok... on to the comment ~

if i weren't sure that you had no attraction to Hugh Jackman, this changing wallpaper would might lead me to believe that you were slightly obsessed. but since i know that the only man you find attractive is your hubby - i am only left to assume you find Hughs, um... er... eyebrow plucking skills to be envied. *i agree* we can all follow Hugh's example in such ... um... important matters.

as far as sick kiddo's = that always sinks - for everyone. those dills sound yummy though, as long as they stay where they are intended to stay.

mmm pickles sound so good right now.... I need to get back on track. Dave made dinner last night and it was soooo good! I had steak, broccoli, caesar salad, bread with oil and vinegar, chocolate milk and phish food. i think that makes up for all of the calories i've cut for the whole week!!! but man it was so good.

    miss you!
