Each summer, our Grandson comes up to stay with us for a week to 10 days. This year, we planned a few days at the beach mid-week, along with a trip to an Air Museum near the coast (we have to go see the cool airplanes!) and other typical beach activities. Of course, today and tomorrow are the first two real rainy days of the summer (rain lasting more than a few minutes). Fortunately, we don't go down until tomorrow afternoon, when the rain "should" be over.
Fingers crossed.
Meanwhile... we are hanging here at the house, occasionally watching the Olympics between other activities. While at the house, in our pantry there is a "Snack Shelf". It is understood that anything on that shelf, he does not need to ask permission to take. If he is hungry, he can go raid the snack shelf at will. He came to me earlier to inform me of a "Major 'Mergency" with the Snack Shelf. It had run out of juice boxes. I went to take a look and it was very slim pickings (I realized I had not reloaded it in a couple days). The shelf has now been restocked, and all is well with the world. LOL
Below is a pic from a trip to the zoo a couple months ago. We went with his cousins and other family members. As with most trips to the zoo, it was an amazing day.
As for now... there seems to be a "Very Important Lego Situation" I need to go investigate. I suspect he has built his latest masterpiece, and needs to show it off!
