Redefinition of Rape? It's Not What You Think.

OK, this is going to piss off a lot of people. Before your head explodes, please read it all the way through to see what I'm actually saying, and don't just read the next paragraph and jump to conclusions.

For those in an uproar over the supposed intent of Republicans to "redefine rape", read what the issue is really about. Don't only read the Democratic written articles, try to find something written by a neutral author.

I'm not saying whether I agree or disagree with this issue, I'm just sick of ignorant people who use any reason to bash one political party or the other without learning what the issue is really about.

Believe it or not, Democrats are just as proficient at slinging mud and casting aspersions as the Republicans are. Believe it or not, neither party is evil, and neither party is innocent. Members of both parties consider themselves patriots, and there is no great evil plan to subvert the country by any of the major parties.

If I have a conversation with one more indignant person who doesn't really know what this issue is about, I don't know if I can be held accountable for the response I give.

    Learn about the issues? Why would we want to do that when we can just have a knee jerk reaction and finger point? It's so much more fun

    RYC: That's why we're having chili dogs to begin with. I'm flat out of ideas though I did get a recipe for a leek and fennel quiche that I'm going to try tomorrow.

    Thanks for the recipe, it sounds amazing! There's nothing in it that he can't have as yukon gold and other varieties of "wax" potatoes don't spike his blood sugar at all. Can't wait to give it a try ;)
