Over the River and Through the Woods
Sat Apr 25 2009

Down the road, around the bend, through some more woods, over another river, next to a pond, around another bend, and… you get the idea.

Not to Grandmothers house, but rather to the bank.

Hubby, #2 and I took a whirlwind trip down to the bank today. This is a bank in which we keep only a savings account in, the only way we can access the money is to drive down and get it. Today’s trip was a planned trip to move some money so we can pay for tuition for the twins next term.

While there, we went to Hubby’s favorite pizza place, Smokeys. They have a pizza called a Hot Oven Combo (olives, mushrooms, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, hamburger, sausage, mozzarella and cheddar cheese on a thin crust). It’s OK. Not my favorite, but Hubby would walk a thousand miles for it so I indulge him whenever we are down there. My personal favorite used to be Escape From New York Pizza in downtown Portland, but it has been gone for years. Now I make due with the local Pizzeria Fondi.

OK, now I’m hungry.

I like lots of cheese, lots of mushrooms, olives, and whatever other veggies happen to be lying around.
