Don't Like The Weather? Wait 5 Minutes.
Tue Mar 17 2009

We've had snow, sleet, hail, rain, sun, and everything else except a tornado. Must be spring. Almost.

I'm hoping it warms up sooner this year than it did last year. I would really like to get out and work in the yard earlier this year than I was able to do last year. I have big plans for the kidney and the vegetable garden. We are also hoping to put in a strawberry patch and a couple plum trees this year, and it would really help if the weather doesn't continue to snow until the end of April.

#3 had a concert tonight, the first of the year that Hubby has been able to go to. #3 was quite excited about it, but no where near as excited as he is to get his braces off tomorrow!

#1 is feeling better today, having gone the whole day with his temperature hovering around normal.

#2 is depressed. He had his final written exam in his EMT Basic class last night. He got a 74%, but passing is 80%. He had the chance to re-take the test this afternoon, and managed to get it up to a 78%, but still couldn't reach the required 80%. Tonight and tomorrow night he has his practical exams. I'm hoping his dark mood doesn't influence his performance in those exams. He thinks (but isn't certain) that he can still sit for his certification test on Thursday. He is going to find out from his instructor tonight.

That's about it for the world of Allimom. It's good to be home and in my own bed, but I sure miss the weather of Southern California this time of the year. If only I could have my comfy bed down in So. Cal!

You know, it warmed up here today, but I am strangely reluctant to put in any precious seeds.

    I have a feeling...

    I better wait a while.

After all, there WAS frost on the grass just last week...

    Sigh.

    Spring, oh fickle Spring.

What's a kidney garden. Do the transplant people know about it?

It seems that almost all is well in the Allimom family. Hope #1 continues to improve, and that #2 eventually passes his EMT exam, and that #3 continue to delight in having his father around while he's in concert.

    Bless

Very cool drop down menu. Can't really relate to the weather thing as much as California weather doesn't vary that much. Anyways, take care
