Flying South for the Winter
Thu Nov 13 2008

Ok, they took the ferry, they didn't fly.

Mom and Dad blow into town tomorrow for the winter; they estimate that they will arrive here about the time the boys are thinking about waking up. Late afternoon.

OK, just kidding. The kids are usually (occasionally) up and coherent by 10 or so. Sometimes.

I plan to call and make sure they are tomorrow as I need them to finish painting one area of the den so we can move the furniture currently residing in the middle of the room back to the wall. I'll have to make sure I instruct the kids to vacuum under the home site of the bookshelf BEFORE they move it back. If I'm lucky, they will also put the books back onto the shelves.

If I'm lucky; and call often to remind them to do so; and offer bribes if they actually do it in such a way that I don't need to re-do it.

RYQ: I think I will be experimenting on and off with the purls, but I also think the Norwegian purl is inherently prone to looseness. . . sigh.

But if this is my biggest problem right now...
    I'm doing pretty good eh?

I need to do some furniture moving and vacuuming and painting. Could I borrow the boys for a few days? I'll feed them.
