A Day In The Life

Hubby and I once again went to our local theater to take in almost 5 hours of Drum Corps. It wasn’t enough. There were more times during that 5 hours that I was on my feet, cheering in appreciation and covered in goosebumps at what I'd just witnessed. It was a musical journey through every emotion I've ever experienced, AND I WANT MORE OF IT!!!!!!!!

I never thought I’d hear myself say this, but I REALLY want to be in Indiana this weekend. For the Drum Corps championships, I can’t think of any other reason to take a trip there.

I intend no insult towards you Midwesterners affiliated with the great state of Indiana, but I much prefer the Pacific NW to the Midwest. I don’t think I would care for the extreme heat this time of year, or the extreme cold in the winter. Give me my nice cool drizzly environment any day of the year. Except this weekend.

Those of you who have been reading my diary for a while have heard me reference Drum Corps from time to time. If you are new to me, and have never heard of it, and live in the vicinity of Indiana, believe me when I say it is well worth the money to make a trip over to the University in Bloomington Indiana tomorrow and/or Saturday.
