The newspaper front page today held the proclamation "Colder Than Siberia!". Apparently our high temps today are slightly cooler than Siberia's temps today. It's almost the middle of June, and we are getting snow in the mountains down to 2500 feet, with warnings about the roads through the passes.
It must be global warming.
Seriously I need to get out and do some weeding, but it's been so cold and rainy I haven't been able to. I hope it warms and dries up soon or I'm going to lose the kidney to the lawn that is trying to reclaim that space, and my veggies will be lost to the various weeds that plague the back yard.
At least the berries are OK for now. I mulched heavily around them, so weeding is a breeze there at least!
OK, time to go find something for lunch. Either that or go to the store for some junk food. Cake sounds good...
