#1 LOVES his job. Oh sure, part of it is rather unpleasant (scooping poop), but the rest of it he loves. Yesterday he reported that he scooped, fed dogs, took dogs to the recreation area, scooped, fixed a fence, fed the dogs again and yes, once again scooped. Today they had him come in from 3:00 – 8:00 so he could see what the evening shift consisted of.
The thing he likes the most? He is the only person of the male persuasion there (other than one of the owners that he describes as an "old man"). The person he is working with today is his age, and he was really looking forward to his shift all morning!
I pointed out to him that he was going there to work, not to flirt with girls, to which he gave me the teenaged patented “DUH!” look.
