Fantastic Day
Sun Jan 13 2008

The weather today was uncharacteristic. Sunny, not a cloud in the sky and in the low-mid 50's but it felt like 60+. Hubby and I went for about a 2 mile walk, I wore a sweatshirt and found myself too warm. It was glorious!

Hubby and I had a list of things to get done this weekend, and I think we may actually have gotten all of it done. In addition to that I got all but one load of laundry done, 5 loads today and 2 loads yesterday. Not bad, not bad at all!

I've got a zip-loc bag of Amish Friendship Bread starter hanging out on the counter in the kitchen. I baked up the last batch on Wednesday, putting half of it in the freezer and letting the family have a go at the ones I left out. Boy is it yummy! One of the batches I did with chocolate and dried berries and cherries. The other is vanilla with chocolate chips, dried cranberries, dried currants, and raisins. Did I mention it was yummy?

I think I may try to find enough lemon pudding, and make the next batch with dried apricots, mangos, pineapple, and papaya.

Now I have the munchies.
