Soda Withdrawl and a Road Trip
Wed Dec 12 2007

I've decided to try to cut soda out of my daily intake. I only drink diet soda, but I was getting to the point that if I didn't have one first thing in the morning (I'm not a coffee drinker, and really only drink tea when I don't feel well) I had the caffeine withdrawl headache. Time to get away from it for a while.

I do this every few years. I get away from soda and do great, but then I go through a few sleepless nights. So I start up again, having some in the morning so I can stay awake long enough to drive to work... and before I know it I'm back to caffeine withdrawl headache if I don't have one.

The twins and I drove down to see my folks yesterday and had a great visit. #1 and #2 took it upon themselves to split some firewood for their grandparents (with Grandpa overseeing most of the operation); Stormy took it upon herself to fun through the whole 10 acres and explore every scent she came across; I took it upon myself to sit inside and visit with Mom.

I'm looking forward to the next visit, hopefully on a weekend so #3 and Hubby can join us.

I drink diet cola too, but wait until morning tea before I start drinking it during the day, and the last one with afternoon tea.
Lots of people drink tea or coffee for caffeine, so I don't see a problem with getting caffeine some other way. I mean, you're homeschooling 3 kids!!!!!!!
