Time Keeps On Slipping....

Steve Miller Band at it's finest...

I can't believe how quickly the days have been slipping past me. Every time I blink it's a new day. What's up with that?

My co-worker's hubby gets home from Iraq this week for a short vacation before heading back to the sandbox. As a result I get more hours at work, which should help pay for Christmas, always a good thing!

I have tomorrow off this week, and if I'm feeling well the kids and I may take a road trip down to my folks. I'm at the end of a cold, and today I felt better than I've felt in almost a week. Since I don't care to share this cold, I'll only go down if I'm in the pink.

#3 and I made cookies and brownies yesterday, YUMMY! I've got the ingredients for fudge on hand, but we haven't made it yet. Maybe tonight, we'll see.

I got an e-mail from SIL today letting us know that nephew has gotten his first job in his chosen career field. I'm thrilled for him and hope he enjoys it as much as I've enjoyed working in my chosen field.

OK, time to go face the mountain of laundry that I've been hiding from this afternoon. Yippie.

You hear it so much that it's become a cliche, but time does slide by at an alarmingly increasing rate as one ages.

Laundry? I think it gestates when we're not looking.
