Thursday Plans

This is a down day for me, and other than a few household chores I plan on taking it easy and surfing the net for job opportunities.

I do have to make a run to the store in a bit to get Hubby's birthday gifts. His birthday is Monday, and I think both of us are looking forward to it. He is taking the day off work, I've put in for the day off, and we will be hitting the local fair for the day. A day together at the fair eating wonderful fair food, what could be better?

School went well for all the kids yesterday, they are still working out the schedules for #1 and #2. Why is it that their schedules get messed up EVERY year? Do the people at the high school not know how to actually put kids in the classes they signed up for? And is it REALLY necessary to put one student in THREE senior english classes for one semester?

SERIOUSLY! They really need to get their acts together!

Don't you know it takes a really dedicated goof to make things difficult for others?

We had some major scheduling messes here too. Evidently the new Whiz Kid computerized scheduling system didn't exactly live up to its billing and our first day was spent with counselors trying to sort out about a thousand screwed up schedules. Youngest son's is still messed up. So much for the high tech solution.
