Thanksgiving
Wed Nov 22 2006

We will be leaving bright and early tomorrow morning to go down to SIL's for Thanksgiving. We're bringing the pecan pie, my BIL makes these incredibly wonderful pumpkin pies, SIL makes a huge spread to feed friends and family.

She will be preparing a 30 pound turkey tomorrow among other things. I want to know what they fed that bird to end up with a 30 pound turkey.

This is like an Arnold Schwarzenegger turkey, or Turkey Kong, Birdzilla maybe?

We will be bringing Stormy with us, unfortunately for her she will be camping out in the van while we are inside. SIL's cats and dogs wouldn't welcome a 4 legged visitor! I've got several soup bones, and we will be going out to take her for walks quite frequently.

OK, actually #1 will be taking her out for walks frequently. Or whichever boy gets himself into an argument that we want to get him out of post haste.

As for now, I'm going to try to sleep. Wish me luck!

Hope your T-day was great. Now if it would just dry out around here.
Did you catch Survivor? Any predictions on who will win? I thought the immunity idol might come into play tonight, boy that was close!

    pfft!

Hope your day went well. Dog and all.

I mostly get yarn at specialty yarn shops, though just in the last few weeks, Michael's started carrying Lion Wool in smaller skiens and a really nice array of color choices. Perhaps they are coming to you soon. . . and here:
