... TOMATO! I've got them coming out of my ears.

I stumbled across a sale on Roma's so I'm going to make tomato sauce today. It's a nice cool day, overcast with a slight breeze and light mist, perfect for canning!

OK, I'm off to do that now... wish me luck!

    Roma's are perfect for canning of all kinds. Not a lot of water in them.

    RYN: I agree - and since I read several different stories of people having to get rid of hair gel and the like I'm thinking that shampoo of course would to have to be dumped. And I don't know about you, but whoo baby the first thing I want to have on hand, in my hand, when I travel is my trusty Dippity-Doo. *insert smart a## smiley here* So that of course would mean that they were dealing with suitcases as well, and seriously how could they not? I'm sure they are, I just haven't been home and awake enough to be up on all the news from yesterday and whatever happened overnight yet. I didn't ask her what her son thought perhaps he was going to need to carry in his suitcase so it wouldn't get dumped, perhaps a goldfish in a bag? More eye rolling please!
