I finished my final today for my database class. This one took me about 7 hours to complete, but those 7 hours including playing taxi to the kids a couple times, various breaks during the day for behavior interventions (on the kids and the dogs), and more interruptions to the dozens of things that crop up in daily life.
I may whine about how long it takes, but believe me, I would much rather do it this way than in a classroom for only a couple hours.
Why you may ask? I get to do it open book this way. If he gave us the tests in class we would only be allowed one page of hand written notes.
Yep, I would much rather do it this way!
My next class starts the week of August 7th. This class will be Software Engineering, Analysis and Design. I'm supposed to have another class as a pre-req before taking it, but my instructor said he will waive it as he doesn't understand why this other class is a requirement (he teaches both classes and says one has nothing to do with the other). Of course, I won't actually know if they will let me take it until I go to sign up. The administration folks may not accept the waiver. I'm keeping my fingers crossed either way. I really want to get all this stuff over! I'm down to my last 8 classes, and I'm VERY anxious for it to be done!
