The Attack of the Allergies

At least I think it is allergies. If not then it's a cold like I've never had before.

I'm completely miserable. No energy, can't breathe, can't taste anything, don't want to eat (although I might make an exception for Ben & Jerry's Phish Food), and generally don't want to do anything but sleep.

When I try to lay down to sleep, my sinuses fill immediately and bring on a sinus-headache from hell. Boy do I wish there was a little itty-bitty nose vacuum on the market that I could clear my sinuses with!

I'm going to try to take a nap again. Wish me luck.

    I've found that what works best for me when I'm that stuffed up is plain old nasal saline. It loosens all that icky goo up and soothes the membranes. Give it a try, you've got nothing to lose at this point.

    Thank you for the suggestion! There is a Dairy Queen just down the block so I might just have to try to drown my angst in chocolate!

    I can sympathize with you. My allergies have been acting up all week. I had a sinus headache Tuesday and Thursday and all week I have been congested and my eyes have been popping. I have medication to take but it doesn't seem to be working as well as it did last year. Hopefully things will get better for both of us.
