Allimom Is TI-RED!!!
Sat Feb 04 2006

I think I slept OK last night, but boy am I wiped out today. I had Statistics this morning, and with Hubby at work this weekend I took #1 with me, and he spent his time downstairs from my class in the library. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there, and came home with 13 checked out books. I know him well enough to know he will be done reading them all in a day or two, so I’ll bring him with me again next week so he can return them.

We will be having our midterm in Stats next week, so I’ve got a bunch of homework and studying to do for that. I’ve only got a couple homework problems for my other class, but they are pretty involved. It won’t surprise me if those three problems take as long if not longer than the 20 homework problems for my Stat class.

Hubby has been gone all day, and will be likely be gone tonight and most of tomorrow, so the kids and I are hanging out tonight until the pup settles down enough for us all to sleep. We’re watching a show about the best commercials from past Superbowls. I’d forgotten how funny and how well done many of them were; in particular the Apple commercial from 1984 and the “Mean-Joe Green” Coke commercial from 1980.

#1 and I made a run to the store after class to pick up fuel for tomorrow and the big game (GO SEATTLE!!!!!). I’m having a hard time staying away from the fruit tray. There is a bunch of pineapple and watermelon chunks calling my name. #1 on the flip side has been making sure the chips are fresh and spinach dip is to his satisfaction. I suspect I will need to make another store run tomorrow to replace the spinach dip that #1 has so thoroughly tested.

OK, I’m off to see if Hellby is ready to sleep yet or not. Wish me luck!

I wonder if melatonin would work on dogs?

If no one has mentioned it before, you might try Rescue Remedy on Shelby. We're currently using it at the shelter on one old cranky kitty, and two very scared semi-ferals. It takes a little time, but it is working. Those are extreme cases, so for Shelby maybe it will at least calm her down a little.

As for the melatonin, it wouldn't hurt to ask your vet. Hellby. Cute. Like KrazyKat for my Siamese. What a pair they would be. Ooooh, I don't want to go there!

I used to love football, and watched the big one faithfully. But I'll probably read a book or watch a tape this time. Am I sick?

Maybe I'll go get some chips and make a spinach dip to go with my tape or book.

    Shalom
