Sending Off The Right Way
Mon Jan 16 2006

The kids got packed and ready to head out to the airport this morning, and we sent them off right. We drove by Krispy Kreme before dropping them off at the bus and got a few dozen Krispy Kreme donuts for them to breakfast on while driving to the airport.

They are in San Francisco now, with a tour of the city, The Golden Gate Bridge, Fishermans Warf and Alcatraz over the next few days.

From there they head to Los Angeles and explore the riches that Southern California has to offer. With all the rain we've had lately, I rather wish I had found a way to stow away with the kids!

Well, that was a visit your family will never forget!! And the Aussie kids won't forget it, either. And I suspect, you did a lot of travelling and sightseeing you ordinarily wouldn't have done.

I hope LA doesn't overwhelm them.

    Shalom
