Shhhh... don't tell!
After my first class, something was nagging in the back of my mind about my Statistics instructor. He reminded me of someone, but I couldn't put a finger on who.
Then, last night in class, it hit me.
While the physical resemblance isn't too strong, but the speech mannerisms are spot on.
I'm going to have a heck of a time keeping a straight face in class.
The Supermall was a hit with many of the kids today, Rob and Caelin each came home with a few bags of treasures themselves.
In addition to the Supermall, they took a trip up to Snoqualmie Falls (prounced Sno-Kwal-Me). With all the rain we've had recently the falls were apparently quite dramatic, although rather misty.
Hubby and I decided to introduce the kids to the experience known as Costco as I needed to get some doggie treats to distract Indigo and Shelby with. We hit the food court afterwards and treated everyone to Hot Dogs. Caelin is quite fond of Hot Dogs, admitting that this is his lunch of choice whenever he can get them.
This evening, Rob got a bit of some excitement. #2 has a Civil Air Patrol meeting tonight, and it seems that a plane has gone down in the area. They are providing radio support and Rob is excited to have the opportunity to see what all goes on for this.
Caelin went with #2 to CAP on Monday, and unfortunately for him it was mind-numbing boring as all they did was take tests. Not that I would wish a plane wreck on anyone, but it would have been nice for him to see a little bit of the action side of the Civil Air Patrol.
Shelby has been driving EVERYONE crazy, bouncing off the walls and full of energy and it's 9:30 at night.
How to distract and entertain a bored pup? Put a handful of ice cubes on the vinyl floor.
Shelby has been chasing around ice cubes for the past half an hour, and isn't showing signs of slowing down yet. I suspect it will take a few more ice cubes before she is worn out!
