Boy, the spin cycle should be a thrill!
I had thought I had all the laundry taken care of this morning. Then the kids cleaned their rooms. I don't know where they hid all that dirty laundry, but there is now a laundry mountain the size of Mt. Everest in my house. The insane glint in my eyes after seeing the laundry mountain must have inspired the kids as they all volunteered to do chores in whichever room I wasn't currently in. As a result, the dishes got done, the bathroom cleaned, and the new rec-room for the kids cleaned and organized.
Maybe I need to practice that glint and adopt it more often? Might be worth a try, particularly when it comes time to start putting the garden in next month! I'm hoping by starting my peas early this year I can get a much longer and more productive run of them.
Hubby jokes that Shelby almost met her maker earlier today. I left my current crochet project on the table next to the chair when I ran upstairs to change laundry loads. While I was doing that, Shelby grabbed the skein of yarn and took off. She had yarn tangled around every piece of furniture on the first floor. Hubby made me stay upstairs while he took care of it as he was afraid if I saw what she did that we would have Roast Brittany Spaniel for dinner tonight. While I'm dismayed at the work she undid, it does give me an excuse to go buy more yarn tomorrow.
Darn the luck!!! I'd better clean out the closet so I have more space to store yarn... I've got all kinds of projects I'd like to get working on!
