For the past week and a half, #2 has been under the weather after sharing a kiss and a virus with his girlfriend. Whatever this is, resembles a cold... but more.
#2 has been sick for going on 10 days now, spending the better part of this last week in bed. Today #1 and I had to face the fact that we have got whatever this bug is also. I had been doing my best to avoid the bug, washing my hands a couple times every hour depending on what I was doing and how much around the house I had touched. Hubby hasn't admitted to anything yet but I noticed his voice a bit on the husky side and swollen looking glands. Fortunately #3 appears to be unaffected so far.
The thing that sucks the most about this is that we were going to go see MIL tomorrow. But now we are too worried about passing this bug on to her. I hate it that we can’t go and see her this weekend. SIL and her family are dealing with the flu so they can’t get over to see her either. It is like the wide world of germs is determined to spoil Christmas. I guess they think that nothing says Christmas better than hacking and coughing in someone’s face.
Hubby and #2 have to deal with this bug while camping out with the Civil Air Patrol all week. I am hoping that #2 is over this bug by Monday, and I’m hoping even more that Hubby is just allergic to the Christmas tree and not coming down with this bug.
