#1 has a conference today, and needed to be there by 8:00. We were also giving a friend of his a ride to the conference so I needed to pick him up on the way. I also needed to get my folks to the airport by about 9:00. In addition to this, I had class that started at 8 this morning.
Last week I told my instructor I would be late today (fortunately we were only watching a movie in class, The Rear Window, which I've seen multiple times), so that was taken care of.
We all left the house to gas up and pick up the friend around 7 or so, and I was able to drop everyone off where they needed to be at the times they needed to be there.
I was then able to arrive to my class a little more than half way through the movie (when Jimmy Stewart is trying to convince his detective friend that a murder has taken place).
When all was said and done, I had driven for two and a half hours and put just shy of 100 miles on the van. Whew! Was I ever stiff when I finally got out of the van and walked around!
Everything worked out well. Now I need to find a way to keep from being distracted so I can get some homework done! Wish me luck!
