When the twins saw the new car yesterday, they both immediately began to drool. The thought of getting to drive the new PT Cruiser with an automatic transmission was a much more savory one than the thought of driving the manual transmission truck.
#2 in particularly had a difficult time not getting drool on the car. He sat in all the seats, and when it got to the drivers seat he adjusted it and the mirrors so he could see what kind of drivers eye view he would have with it.
Both of the boys know that in order to get their drivers permits, they have to maintain a B average at school, with no individual grade below a C. I'm not sure how close they are to that right now as Progress Reports don't come out until October 11, but with luck the new car will give them all the more incentive to get and keep their grades up.
I can hope can't I?
