What To Do?
Tue Aug 23 2005

Hubby and the twins are off on their camping trip (which was changed from the wilderness location to a place with rustic cabins to avoid the possible rain in the next couple days) and #3 and I are free to engage in whatever we want.

That should actually read whatever I want since I want to go pick blackberries and he doesn’t.

I would like to get some blackberry jam and pie filling canned in the next couple days. I do plan to compensate #3 by letting him choose the activities for part of the time, but I do want to get the berries picked and canned while the weather is cool!

I think I may take him to get some school clothes while his brothers are not here to be helpful in that task. I can then take them later without #3 there to stir things up with them. The thought of peaceful school shopping is a nice one!

Right now though, I need to go find the Tylenol or Motrin to ease off some of the lingering muscle pain. Maybe #3 and I should hit the Y later today to sit in the hot tub. That sounds like a very good plan!

I laughed out loud on that last entry. I'll have to tell Thomas about it. He'll get a kick out of it. Nothing like "gallows humor" to keep me amused.

    Have a great evening!

Wry chuckles, here! Yup. And now that I think of it, it brings back memories of one funny boss who said he'd make a good funeral director. Now I believe him!

    Hugs,
