She was supposed to get moved from the hospital today to a nursing home, but the plans got flubbed and it won’t be happening until tomorrow.
This has been difficult on Hubby and SIL. Watching their mother deteriorate so quickly has been painful and extremely stressful. She has had difficulties communicating for several years now. She stopped being able to speak a couple years ago and was communicating by writing things down on a note pad. Recently her motor skills have gotten to the point where that is all but impossible. She has her good days where she can write, but more and more days she is unable to do so.
MS is a cruel disease. It cripples your body and leaves your mind trapped inside with no hope of getting out. My sister was recently diagnosed with MS, and she is being told by her doctors that they are very close to a cure. I pray one is found soon.
