Tired
Fri Jul 15 2005

I'm tired today. Tired beyond words. I dearly hope I can get a good night sleep in tonight. Maybe I'll be lucky and the noisy folks across the street will be quiet for a change.

I can hope.

#2 had a follow up appointment this morning with the doc about his foot. He goes back next week for another x-ray and we find out then if he can get off the crutches.

He is going crazy with this forced rest. He is far too full of energy to stay off his feet and keep the injured foot elevated for more than about 30 seconds. Poor kid.

Don't you call the cops when the noise goes on beyond 10pm? The cops come here when they get a call. And a repeated call about the same person results in a citation. And since this is a rental apartment complex, it has also resulted in eviction.

Unless your noisy neighbors are renters, the best you can hope for is citation, I guess. I sympathize, because I've lost sleep the same way.

#2 must be making himself crazy. Poor boy. Be nice if he were the placid type. But that's not going to happen in Allimom's family. Just a guess. I read about your kids and wonder why you haven't chained them in the basement.

Ah, well. Never a dull moment. And that's a plus too.

    Shalom

I'm wild about Harry too. I have all the books, I stayed up all night reading the last one, I've seen all the movies.

And I'm supposed to be a college kid that's too good for it, you know, walking around like a beatnik and quoting Sartre and Nietzche. Nope....I'd rather quote Harry Potter.

    Happy reading!

I'm a fan of Jean Auel. I have all her books except the last one. I have some gift money left, so I think I'll go spend it at Borders.

I've avoided buying books because I have a lot of Judaica to study, and a lot of books my sister has sent me. So why spend money when I have a free library? But some books just need to be bought. Right?

Lilian Jackson Braun is another writer I enjoy. Light mysteries, fun reading The Cat Who... stories.

    Shalom

Thanks to you and Pragmatist, I will be listening to some new mysteries. I love mysteries. I have put Jean Auel and Lilian Jackson Braun's books on tapes on order for me.
I cant wait to start them.
I too love Harry Potter. Hubby always buys me the CD movie as soon as it comes out.
    I can hardly wait.

Thanks for the infro on the socks. I am going to try the ones you named, anything but the ones they already have.

    Love,
    Honey
