I did it! I fell asleep before midnight! More importantly, I was able to get out of bed this morning without feeling the need to go back to sleep this morning!

Even #1 was able to get out of bed without too much fuss. I ended up sending him back to bed after he ate a few bites of his breakfast. He is clearly not feeling well today, so his teachers have been e-mailed asking to send his homework home with #2, and he is hopefully sleeping off whatever bug is trying to take hold of him.

Hubby and I started the process of looking for lenders last night. We got into this house with two separate loans. It was a program for new construction mortgages, and now we are looking to find one loan to replace those. We have found a couple good possibilities so far, I just need to call around and find someone to do an independent appraisal from the one that was done prior to the house being fully complete. The appraisal we have does not include some of the upgrades we opted for, and also does not include the fence and dog run.

Now I just need to remember where I put the phone book so I can let my fingers do the walking…

I also see this morning that I have gained a couple friends out there in DD world. Welcome to you, whoever you are. I'll have to browse my Friends list to see who is there!

    One of those DD 'friends' is me, I always read your entries but sometimes my mail box gets too overloaded with things from school, et cetera and I can't get notified like I like to. And now things have settled down and I now have time to actually comment on others' diaries.

    I watched 'Survivor' this season too. I was rooting for Tom the entire season. He played wonderfully and he deserved the win! Katie should not have gotten into the final four in my opinion.

    Any place you go to for your home loan has their own appraisal company they use. You can just go through them and sometimes it helps because they are sending each other business the apprasals are usually better.

    Between doc, dentist, psych, court and orthodontist appointments, he has missed more than I wanted him to miss.

    Court today and then a phone call from Vice principal... The same one who followed the boys over from the JR high to the full high.. Drat.. He had it in for my GS from the gate. Anyway, he calls just to let me know after I signed him in this afternoon, he took off and was truant to all afternoon classes.. Now that is a fine how do you do.. after the judge told him to get his life in order!!!
    and told me to have his mom petition the court for custody if that is what we decide..
    Okay then.. MOM!!!! Come in mom(his mom.. my daughter) Oh I just hate this
    Good luck on finding a lender. I think maybe I'd chill on joe schmo's beef and loan.. lol
