I'm not sure if they released her as she was clear to go, or if they released her because she apparently was quite uncooperative with them. Hubby says she kept pulling out any and all tubes and lines they were trying to put into her in order to treat her.
Evidently when the ambulance folks were there last night, they asked her how she was doing and if she needed to be taken to the hospital or something like that. Her reply was to write down (she can no longer speak) 2500. They took that to mean that she was unable to communicate and her communications center of her brain was possibly experiencing a stroke. Hubby and I think she was trying to say that going to the hospital would cost $2500 and she was attempting to refuse treatment. My SIL has a medical POA for her, and over-rode that and had her treated. I don't think MIL was happy about that, but we are grateful that it happened nonetheless.
