I've realized (not for the first time, but nonetheless...) that it is an impossibility for boys to be quiet.
They cannot speak in soft voices.
They cannot walk without stomping.
Nothing they do while awake can be classified as quiet.
This is not a good thing right now. I wonder if I can convince them to all take a nap?
