Ready To Face The Day
Sat Mar 05 2005

I got my assignments turned in this morning. From the feedback I got from my instructor it looks like I will be getting an A in the class unless I really tanked on the recent turn-ins. I'm sure I didn't though as the programs worked like a champ for me.

I'm now ready to face a day of doing bills and packing things up. Doesn't that sound exciting? I'm on the tail end of my cold, so the temptation to go take a nap is nibbling around the edges of my awareness. I'm downing caffeine by the bucket full to ward that off. I'll sleep in tomorrow morning and make up for getting up early today.

When I was getting ready to go turn in my assignments this morning, #1 and #3 were in the heights of a major bicker session. I called a halt to that by telling #3 that if he got dressed REAL FAST, he could go with me and we would swing by Krispy Kreme to get breakfast for everyone this morning. That brought an abrupt halt to the bickering and wreaths of smiles from all parties.

It’s amazing how well sugar works as a bribe to kids.

Great way to stop the bickering! A little distraction and a special treat sure goes a long way.

Oh . . . I actually do LOVE snow, I've missed it so much! But I thought it was funny to see flowers in other people's gardens when my bulbs are frozen in their pot under inches of snow hehehehehe

Sounds like you are pretty busy. I hope you are having a great weekend.

I just watched a show on tv where this guy helped a couple re-do their tiny backyard. They had 5,000 dollars to spend. I could not believe it. What a princely sum! What I could do with 5,000 in my own backyard!!!! Sigh....
Let's go get those lottery tickets shall we?

Packing is such a chore, but it will be so worth it when you are all moved in. When is the big move by the way?

Starting fresh is so exciting! Plus, you've mentioned Krisy Kreme for two entries in a row. I'm going to have to buy some now in your honor. ;o)
