Unusual Monday Morning
Mon Dec 20 2004

There were no arguments. There was no bickering. There were no fights. The kids were easy to get up and get going, and sure enough as I check my calendar it is Monday.

I wonder what they’re up to?

It must be the proximity of Christmas that has influenced their behavior. No matter what, I need to not question it and be glad that the morning went so smoothly!

I’ve got a laundry list of tasks, chores and errands to do today, as well as the laundry list of laundry. Today should go quickly. I just hope it doesn’t go too quickly! I’ve got too much to get done.

Dad flies in tomorrow night, he will be staying here then we will drive down to Portland Wednesday morning for the funeral. From what his last e-mail told, he and Mom will be coming back up here Wednesday evening. Thursday morning Steve and Kathy should be coming up, and we will set everything up and settle in for the holidays then.

This week is definitely going to go fast if the schedule is anything to judge it by!

Just the opposite here. We got up late..& had to drive GS to school in my robe and a coat.. It is so foggy I couldn't see!
    I had a funeral today!
And so it goes. I feel just like you about shopping. I can't stand how commercial this whole holiday thing has become. From Halloween on.. It just stinks
Thankfully, it is over for me for this year too!
