All Shopped Out
Sun Dec 19 2004

Between yesterday and today, we shopped. And we shopped. And we shopped. We didn’t shop until we dropped, we shopped until other people dropped and kept on going.

If I never see the inside of another store again in my life… OK, who am I kidding. I’ll make do with just a few days until I grace another store.

Hubby and #1 are out at the movies with the gaggle of friends #1 hangs out with, watching Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. That is today’s feature at the free theater here on base. Let’s face it, just about any time you can see a movie for free, you should.

I have #2 cleaning his room so that I can see his floor and furniture again. #3 (having already cleaned his room) is busy making swords out of empty wrapping paper rolls, and having a wonderful time of it.

I’m enjoying a brief respite between tasks for the day. All the appliances are working their little motors off, it isn’t time to make dinner yet, and I’m enjoying doing virtually nothing for a bit.

OK, that bit of time is up, more chores call.

Yippie.

Swords? Where's the fun in that? I've been using them as light sabers!
