Rise & Shine & Relax!
Mon Nov 22 2004

All the kids are off to school, and it is just me, the dogs and laundry in the house. Oh what fun!

I’ve got a few errands to run this morning, and a meeting at #3’s school at 1, but other than that my day is free. I’m going to take advantage of it and relax and read. Maybe throw in a little crocheting, maybe not.

Right now though, breakfast is at the top of my need to do list.

I’ve been talking (OK, e-mailing and talking) with my folks and my bro the past two days. It looks like we will all be getting together for Christmas this year. We haven’t done a family Christmas with all of us together since before I was married. With my folks in Alaska and bro and I not in Alaska, it hasn’t been feasible to do so. This year we are going to do it though. Mom & Dad will be flying down, Steve & Kathy will be driving up, and we will be partaking of the holiday cheer together.

I have to admit, I’m really looking forward to it.

Family is good. The more the merrier.

I make a mean sweet potato pie myself... ;-)

I prefer it to pumpkin if truth be told!

It sounds like you are going to have a wonderful Christmas. I should know, I pulled one off about 4 yrs ago. Never did I ever think that year would mean so much to me as it did. Those memories are priceless.
I hope yours will be too.
    (((((hugs)))))

    Love,

Sounds like the makings of a great Christmas. Mine will be just the opposite with Alex gone. I think my d-i-l will be at her parents this year which I am sure they will appreciate.
