I couldn't think of a title for this entry, so I'll let you make one up yourselves.

Sunday, how can it be Sunday already? Somebody needs to pass a law making weekends 3 days long. I could deal with that, definitely!

I’ve had Christmas on my mind lately. After spending last Christmas in Disneyland, I’ve a hankering to do that again. It isn’t going to happen, but it would be nice to do that again some day. I’d like to do Disney World next time though. This year it will be back to the traditional family Christmas.

I spent a couple days this morning looking for my glasses, only to find that the kids had dropped them on the floor under a blanket, and then commenced to roll around and wrestle on top of them. My glasses resembled a pretzel by the time I found them. I’ve managed to re-bend them enough to fit on my face. I can see things again now, but my glasses still bear a striking resemblance to a pretzel.

The kids spent most of the morning in various stages of bickering. I finally persuaded #1 to bike up to rent a movie. He called a bit ago to let me know he would be at the library for a little while before coming home. It is much easier to keep two kids apart in the house than it is three kids.

Now, back to nagging #2 into doing all the homework he has left to do (which basically is all of it).

our lives mirror each others so much it is with slight trepidation that I open another entry
Night before last Kody and I are arguing about some stupid thing not even remembered when I notice a look on his face that says 'look out below' right then the door behind his door, comes crashing down .. right toward me. (It is a new door that doesn't fit.. So we just have it behind his leaning on the door) (did I mention I am short of space?).. I manage to move in time for the door to only graze a part of my arm.. and I guess in total panic I squeezed the life out of my glasses .. which also look like a yoga position or pretzel.. :)
I also sort-of straightened them. They feel awkward on my face and fit too tight..
What do you say we schedule some good smiling days to come.. Mirror sister?

I've started wearing my glasses more than contacts lately, mainly because the budget is tight and I'm down to my last pair of lenses. At least I don't have to worry about breaking them so much if I've always got them on. I hope!

My response to the sore losers isn't the best I know, but I feel like if they want to go then let them. Do I think many will? No. And for the record, I feel the same way about Hillary as I did about John Kerry. I state that now, four years in advance. No threats to move from the country, but you can bet I won't be a happy woman if she got elected. Horrors!!

Altho I am not happy about either choice for president, I voted. There isnt any sense for ppl to cry over something like this.
I wonder why Cher didnt run for president if she was so upset with the canidates.
    *laughing*
    They never learn.

Only 4 years? Disaster can happen in less time than that.

I understand how that lady feels. It is not JUST four more years. It is four more years of screwing up our economy, increasing the dept and of him threatening our constitutional rights. He is so conservative that it feels as if he is trying to take away all choices. That makes it feel like freedom itself is in danger. It scares me to death that he could be replacing two Supreme Court justices with right wing conservatives. It is going to take us YEARS and YEARS to undo all the damage he is doing to freedom in this country.

    How right Char was.!!!
This is a different world from 4 yrs ago
I think the thing many people are fearing is that Bush has more power than any president ever has before. He has put in place very long term conditions/laws/acts.. already. what more might he do? There is a huge bi-polar split in this nation. and somehow he needs to pull it together, but that is not one of his strong points.. He is more a war horse and a plays on people's fear
If we keep allowing our loss of rights we may as well quit calling ourselves a democracy altogether!!
He has the potential to name long term supreme court justices into place and not just 1 but perhaps 4.. that could affect our nation for 40 yrs on down the road not 4!!! and think about even one year.. The damage that can be done. Or undone.. I guess I am one of the people thinking of leaving.. I know I worked real hard to raise peoples consciousness around the election and it just feels like it was all for nothing. But.. I don't know. I am worried about my Grandson's future. My other kids, and grandkids.. Not so much me.. But the earth in general.. Deep healing needs to happen
and peoples long term thinking.. It needs to get on a level a step or two deeper
    Just my feedback

I'm not really one to get into the whole political debate but the reason hubby and I were so into voting this year was precisely what pinkspiritlady and dreambooks2003 said. I am scared to death to see what our county is going to be like in the next 4 years. Bush has already created the largest deficet the United States has ever had. When Clinton was in office he was actually the only president to every get the deficet down and then Bush took over and not only messed up everything Clinton had done but made it worse. I would like for there to be something left for my children when they get to be my age but if we keep getting people into office like Bush I'm afraid there will be nothing left for my kids when they hit my age.
    Just my 2 cents....
