Wednesday Morning

This morning was another morning I was able to pry myself out of bed after only hitting the snooze once. The kids on the other hand.... I’ve had to light constant fired under them from the get-go.

It seems last night while I was in class, #2 thought it would be “cool” to draw tattoos all over him and #3. While this may have seemed like a neat idea to start with, he discovered that if he falls asleep with his face against the artistic drawings on his arm, they transfer into not-so-pretty drawings on his face. So… it was off to the showers for #2 this morning to wash the big purple splotches off his face. While in there I had him wash the rest off his arms too. That was when he discovered that it isn’t so easy to wash pen off your skin.

Bummer.

It seems last night was another case of milk guzzling. I’m getting quite frustrated with the milk situation in this family. I drink very little milk as I know the kids drink so much, but this is getting ridiculous. Between Hubby and the boys they are drinking 2 gallons of milk a day. I know they are growing boys (not Hubby, the kids), but that is a bit extreme. I’ve got to find a way to get them to drink water more often. Including Hubby. I’m starting to think that I need to buy milk by the cow rather than by the gallon.

We used to go thru that much milk and more every day when our kids were younger, but these days a gallon will last several days. Nathan is alergic to it and finally decided he would rather breathe. Matthew too was taken off for health reasons and my husband cut way back. Our grocery budget breathed a sigh of relief. :)

Hitler's thugs . . . who cause mayhem in the streets of Germany wherever they wanted to spread fear.

I knew it might be a bit of an obscure reference... sorry! :-)

Two GALLONS a DAY???? Sheesh! Maybe you need to put a lock on the fridge. And point out what the water tap is for.

Wow that's a lot of milk. It takes my family a least a week just to get through 1 gallon of milk. LOL
