I was asleep before 11 last night!!!! That little melatonin did the trick, helped along with sheer exhaustion of course!

Yesterday was the day to pick up the school schedules for #1 & #2. They start High School, and will have 8 classes, 4 of which they take every day with the schedule alternating every other day for classes. When we got there, the attempt of orderliness was posted with alphabetical separation of last names coordinated to different tables. I say attempted because they had no monitors at the tables and schedules were strewn across the tables. We did finally find the schedules, but there were definitely some problems. #1 was only scheduled for 7 classes (so we had to add the 8th which was PE) and #2 was only scheduled for 2 classes. #2 of course thought this was wonderful. With only French and his ROTC class on the list he thought he had it made! His disappointment was palpable when I went into the office to rectify that situation. We should be able to pick up the new schedules Tuesday, so the boys will (hopefully) be able to start classes without a hitch when school starts next Wednesday.

Today we go to pick up #3’s schedule. He would be more excited had he not gotten himself grounded this morning. I have a rule in the house that food MUST be eaten in the kitchen. #3 has this habit of sneaking the gallon of milk, box of cereal, bowl and spoon into his room and eating his breakfast there. The last time he did this he got his butt smacked and warned not to do it again. Three guesses where I found the milk this morning? Hiding in his room under a blanket. Oh yea, he is SO grounded. I now have a slave today and tomorrow to help me clean up the house.

36 hours and 51 minutes. Hubby gets home in only 2211 minutes. But who’s counting? Yep, ME!!!

I only had to stop at six different tables to get Nathan registered in high school this year; oops, make that seven. This was their version of streamlining the process. Evidently the really smart people who work in our district set it up. And these are the people who will be teaching him to problem solve. OY!

I can remember the first entry of yours that I read last year. I'll bet, from this link, you might be able to guess which one it is.

I realize this won't be the first time I've left my opinion on zuchinin on your diary, but I have to say, zuchinin as dog food is the perfect solution to the world's zuchini problem.
