#1 has his oral surgery tomorrow, and has been somewhat jittery today. He will be having one of his canines surgically exposed as it has refused to come down on it's own, and is now damaging the roots of the surrounding teeth.
At the evaluation yesterday, #1 proclaimed that he wanted whichever anesthesia that did not involve needles. With that decision made, I have a Halcion tablet to give him tonight, then one an hour before the appointment tomorrow. He will then be given nitrous oxide in the chair. With luck, this will all make him loopy enough that he will be virtually incoherent throughout the surgery.
I’m bringing ear plugs just in case. That way I should be able to get a couple chapters of calculus read while I wait.
