Today’s taking time with and for Jesus is what it is today is a reminder of His love. It was and still is a struggle to stop what I am doing to spend a few minutes with our Savior and Lord. As I continue to read Bibless scriptures on a daily and weekly, so be it, everyone. I, having to struggle daily to find. a few minutes or more from my scheduled life doing other things that are routine and not spiritual,, it would make God happy to be included in your day that is not specific time in the day somewhere. Jesus will be sad if I fall away from him.
As I sit here after Sabbath hours, I am surely struggling to put aside my worldly stuff and focus on Jesus right now. I would rather play a game on my iPad and phone than set those things aside for a few minutes throughout the day to open up my Bible to read scriptures during a devotional I want to understand as I read it. Even though a secular book that is not a devotional is much easier and faster to pick up, the Bible is one of the best books. My spiritual time with Jesus should be without interruption and I can be that one good example getting to know God and share Him with others in some way and fashion. So here I am Lord Jesus, show me the way. Thank you. Amen.
