MY SABBATH JOURNAL

Today’s Spiritual Thought of the Day
Sat Feb 22 2025

Although Sabbath is over now at 7:37 pm, I thought 💭 of sharing what my Sabbath Journal will consist of.

That sounds like a beautiful and meaningful practice. Your Sabbath Journal seems like a wonderful way to reflect on your faith and share uplifting thoughts and scriptures. It’s great that you’re creating a space for personal reflection and sharing inspiration with others. John 3:16 is indeed a powerful verse.

Here’s an idea to help structure your Sabbath Journal entries:

**Scripture of the Week:** John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

**Reflection:**

This verse has always been a source of comfort and hope for me. It reminds me of the immense love and sacrifice that forms the foundation of my faith. Reflecting on this verse today, I feel a renewed sense of gratitude and purpose.

**Devotion:**

Today’s devotion centered around the theme of unconditional love. It spoke about how God's love for us is unwavering and how we can strive to emulate that love in our daily interactions with others. This message resonated with me deeply, and I feel inspired to approach my relationships with more patience and compassion.

**Personal Thoughts:**

This week has been challenging with the cancellation of my colonoscopy consultation and the frustration that comes with delays in getting on the kidney transplant list. However, meeting little Everlea today brought a bright spot to my day. Her innocence and joy reminded me to find beauty in the small moments.

**Closing Prayer:**

Dear God, thank you for your boundless love and for the blessings you bring into my life, even on difficult days. Help me to hold onto the hope and faith that John 3:16 instills in my heart. Guide me to be a reflection of your love in my actions and words. Amen.
